2022 Young Artists of Hawaiʻi Annual Student Art Exhibition

  • Hawai‘i State Art Museum at No. 1 Capitol District Buidling, 2nd Floor 250 South Hotel Street Honolulu, HI, 96813 United States (map)

“What does good leadership look like?”

This year’s theme, posed as a question, is an exploration of the qualities of good leadership, how good leaders impact our communities, and who these good leaders are in our families, classrooms, schools, local neighborhoods, and global community. Through the incorporation of suggested classroom discussions and literature, students will be able to submit a piece of artwork to the 2022 Young Artists of Hawai‘i competition that captures these discoveries pertaining to the theme.

The 96 winning entries will be on display at the Hawaii State Art Museum May 14 – June 25.

A replica of the exhibit will be on display at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center June 2022 – March 2023.

A list of winner's names has been posted to the SFCA website: SFCA.Hawaii.gov/YAH (click the link in our profile).
