Paradise-Helicopter-Virtual_v2.jpeg

Join photographers Andy Stenz and Ric Noyle, cinematographer Brad Watanabe, and a Paradise Helicopters pilot for an in-depth workshop on the best practices and pro tips of creating quality still images and video from a helicopter. Review their aerial work and discuss what it took to create it.

Learn what to do when asked to shoot from a helicopter. Understand the costs and how to book the helicopter. Understand the creative logistics of how far the destination is from the airport. What time of day might work best? What gear will you need? Get to know the safety rules on the ground and in the air. Understand the best protocol for communicating with the pilot prior to departure, and then in the air on your creative needs, angles and altitude. Review the optimal camera settings in different light and wind conditions.

This virtual workshop is complimentary to an in-flight workshop experience to FLY AND SHOOT OVER JURASSIC VALLEY! on Saturday Sept 11, available for an additional $150.

Cost: FREE
