A musical and dance performance based on Samoan fāgogo (traditional stories)
Hawai‘i Triennial 2022 artist Dan Taulapapa McMullin directs the performance that reflects on themes of artificiality, reality, life, death, and resurrection. Kumu hula, dancers, and choreographers Kaina Quenga and Anthony Aiu will perform in Taulapapa McMullin’s fantastical bodysuits constructed from artificial flowers and leaves in this original presentation featuring music composed by T.J. Keanu Tario (Lady Laritza La Bouche).
FREE with admission. Reservations not required.
