We are honored to welcome Dovie Thomason, an Indigenous storyteller of Lakota and Plains Apache descent, as well as Scot traveller. The modern appeal of her retellings of traditional stories has garnered her acclaim and respect, as well as awards from the American Library Association, the National Endowment for the Arts, Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers, and the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence Award.
