Recover Guided Activity

  • The Honolulu Museum of Art 900 South Beretania Street Honolulu, HI, 96814 United States (map)

Help grow the yarn ʻōhiʻa lehua forest in Palm Courtyard, part of the Recover installation! Join us for a hands-on guided activity making pom pom ʻōhiʻa lehua flowers, which will be added to the knit and crochet leaves and branches in Recover's ever-evolving yarn ʻōhiʻa forest. This guided activity will be led by fiber artist collective The Fuzz Hawaii. Recover is part of the museum-wide Joyful Return exhibition, which transforms museum spaces with community-sourced textiles installed on a variety of surfaces and architectural features. All supplies provided by HoMA. The museum is continuing to implement Covid-19 safety requirements to ensure the health of our community.
