Love is in the air with Donizetti’s charming comedy, The Elixir of Love, sung in a witty English translation.

The fantastic ensemble cast includes soprano Natalie Image, tenor Andrew Stenson, and baritone Efrain Solis with director Maria Todaro, all making their HOT debuts. Benjamin Makino returns to conduct following the recent, triumphant run of Madame Butterfly. This heartwarming comedy hits the stage just in time for Valentine’s Day when a poor peasant falls in love with a beautiful landowner. HOT’s production is perfectly set in present-day Hawai’i in a quaint town outside of a sugar cane farm.
