Shakespeare: 8-Week Course Begins Dec. 5
Shakespeare can be one of the most thrilling forms of theater. As an actor, given the beautiful heightened language, it takes technical understanding of his work in order to perform it in a way that is clear and magnetic for an audience. With this focused coaching session you will learn vocal dynamics for Shakespeare’s text (written in verse and prose), how to communicate heightened language in an easeful and dynamic way, and how to inject your unique personality into the great stories of Shakespeare.
TV & Film Acting: 8-Week Course Begins Nov. 9
In this class you will learn how to act in a simple, truthful and spontaneous way specifically for the camera. Given that the camera tells a story in a series of pictures, you will also learn how to create the behavior of the scene working within the frame of the camera. Technical tools will be shared on how to break down a script, build the reality of a scene, and how to tell the story that is actually on the page.
Whether you are just starting out, would like to build upon your current skills, or are prepping for professional auditions, this class is for you. With so many opportunities of projects currently shooting in Hawaii, as well as local artists creating original films and digital shorts, this is an opportune time to hone your on-camera skills.
Acting for Homeschool Students: 8-Week Course Begins Nov. 9
Ages 9-15. This class is for young students looking to have fun learning how to use the basic tools for acting: Their body, voice, and imagination. In this class theater games, ensemble building exercises, and how to work with fellow classmates on a performance are explored.
Audition Technique: 3-Week Course Begins Nov. 6
Do you have an audition coming up? Or just want to learn how to audition? Whether it be for a play, on-camera, or for a college acting program - in this workshop you will learn tools and techniques that will make you feel prepared and confident when you walk into the audition room and do your best work.

Actors who enjoy telling a story in an exciting way, to the point where the audience leans forward and cannot wait to find out what happens next, is one of the most thrilling theatrical experiences. In this class you will learn how to do just that. Learning how to use your body, voice, imagination, and uniqueness of self to have fun performing theatrical pieces in a clear, truthful and exciting way.
