Temari Hawaiʻi Celebrates 43 Years of Preserving Handmade Asian and Pacific Art Forms

Temari Hawaiʻi is an arts organization focused on handmade Asian and Pacific arts that supports and inspires artists, teaches traditional and contemporary techniques, and creates a community of cultural connections through our workshops, art markets, and events.

Temari Hawaiʻi has worked with the local community to revive kapa (Hawaiian bark cloth), ʻohe kapala (bamboo stamps), kadomatsu (New Year’s bamboo arrangements), and has made Micronesian lei making a style you now see every day in Hawaiʻi.
