PAPA is proud to cotinue its quality arts education program on stage at the historic Hawaii Theatre with "Alice in Wonderland Jr." performed by the talented students in the Pacific Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA) through the Hawaii Theatre Center Youth Theatre Education program. 

From the Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime), comes the Olivier Award-winning Once on This Island. This Caribbean adaptation of the popular fairy tale, The Little Mermaid, garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score.

Sichuan Song and Dance Group, known for their spectacular presentation of the folk art and culture in Sichuan

The performance, which included singing and dancing, opera and acrobatics, reflects the multi-ethnic cultures of Tibet, Qiang, Yi and Han, as well as the historical connotation of Sichuan.

 Based on Ken Ludwig’s Tony award-winning Lend Me A Tenor; this is a side-splitting farce that follows the chaotic misadventures of a hapless opera company desperately trying to find a replacement soprano in time for their performance, leading to a hilariously tangled web of mistaken identities and comedic chaos.

Desperate and out-of-work, Michael makes a last-ditch effort at making his dreams come true...by disguising himself as actress Dorothy Michaels. In a meteoric rise to Broadway stardom, Dorothy soon has audiences falling at her feet while Michael (disguised as Dorothy) is falling for his co-star, Julie. It isn't long before Michael realizes that maintaining his greatest acting success is going to be much harder than he expected. 

Based on the movie, "Tootsie" was hailed as "Broadway's funniest new musical!" by The New York Post. The show received 11 Tony Award nominations, winning for Best Book of a Musical.

Lilli Vanessi returns to the stage from Hollywood to re-team with her former costar and ex-husband, Fred Graham in a musical version of William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew". Foes at first, things quickly turn sweet between Lilli and Fred when they each realize that the spark that once made them lovers is still there. Mo’olelo – A Performing Arts Studio presents “The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled” – an original musical about a winter season when a catastrophe threatens the annual celebration and Santa, his wife and their faithful elves deal with the potential tragedy of having to cancel Christmas for a year. This heart-warming story about the true importance of the season features a small, tight-knit cast featuring Broadway performer Matthew Pedersen as Santa and Po’okela Award winner Vanessa Mazzullo as Mrs. Claus.
